ManoManoPro United Kingdom allows companies registered for VAT in the United Kingdom who have entered a valid VAT number to benefit from a VAT exemption on payment for products shipped by our sellers from another country, as well as on the corresponding delivery charges.

How do I know if my company is registered for VAT?
If your business is liable to pay VAT to the UK tax authorities or files VAT returns, it will have a UK VAT number. Some businesses do not have a VAT number because they are not liable for VAT.

How is my VAT number validated, and how quickly?
ManoManoPro validates the number with the tax authorities which can take up to several days. An alert will be sent to you to inform you of the success or failure of the validation.

When will the VAT exemption be applied to eligible products?
Once your VAT number has been validated, the VAT exemption is automatically applied from your basket to eligible products.
Please note that the exemption does not apply retroactively to your past purchases.

Why is the VAT exemption no longer applied to eligible products in my basket, even though I used to benefit from it?
There are several reasons why the VAT exemption on eligible products has been discontinued:
- Your VAT number is no longer valid: ManoManoPro regularly checks the validity of your number, and it no longer appears valid to the authorities.
- A compliance check is in progress and a document request is pending: following your VAT-exempt purchases, we would like to check the use of your status. We are waiting for your account to send us a document from your company clearly stating the name of your company and the VAT number associated with your ManoManoPro account.
- You have declared that your company is not registered for VAT in your ManoManoPro profile: this will temporarily disable the use of your VAT number registered in your profile.
- You have recently applied to change your VAT number, and your application has not yet been processed or has been rejected: requesting a change to an already valid VAT number deletes the number and pauses VAT exemption until a new number is validated.

Why do some products still have 'non-deductible VAT'?
Some products are dispatched by sellers from countries outside the European Union who don't have all the necessary information to carry out duty-free invoicing.
As a result, the invoice you receive will contain VAT that you will not be able to deduct.
It is nevertheless easy to identify products from which VAT cannot be deducted during your purchase:
- the price will be shown only as incl. VAT
- The message 'VAT not deductible' will appear
