What is an F-Gas product?
F-Gas products are equipment pre-charged with fluorinated refrigerants, such as air conditioning units, heat pumps and refrigeration systems. They require professional installation by a certified F-Gas engineer.
Why am I being asked for an additional document?
Under the GB F-Gas Regulations (assimilated Regulation (EU) No 517/2014, Article 11(5)), these products may only be sold to end users who provide proof that installation will be carried out by a qualified F-Gas certified professional or company. Without this proof, no shipment can take place.
What document do I need to provide?
You have received your Buyer's declaration directly in your order confirmation email from ManoMano. You will need to complete it and send it to the seller before your order can be shipped.
How and where do I submit this document?
You can submit your completed Buyer's declaration by following the steps below :

- Step 3: You will then be able to write a message to the seller indicating that you are sending them the declaration, then add the document as an attachment.
How much time do I have?
You have 48 hours from receipt of your order confirmation email.
What happens if I don't submit the document in time?
If the required documentation is not received within 48 hours, your order may be cancelled and you will receive a full refund. You can place a new order once you have your completed document ready.
Does my installer need to be certified?
Yes. The installer must hold a valid F-Gas handling certificate (individual) or F-Gas company certificate. Certification can be verified through the F-Gas Register (Environment Agency) or recognised bodies such as Refcom, ACRIB or City & Guilds.
What is ManoMano's role?
ManoMano acts as a technical intermediary: it informs you of your obligation and provides the document instructions in your order confirmation email. The seller is responsible for verifying and retaining your documentation.
